It's a long narrow road often filled with heartache and disappointment. Sometimes filled with hopeless if we missed our chance for love. This reminds us that if we are patient this road is worth it. I had resolved to live alone and spend the rest of my life 'being there' for friends and loved ones. But then on August 22, 2006 my 22 year old daughter fell from a 3rd story window onto an asphalt surface. The main impact was to her face and forearms. As I sat in the hospital with her I never felt so alone in my life. As my daughter began recovery....I decided to try one more time to see if God had somebody out there for me. I met the man of my hopes, my wishes, my dreams, and of my heart on December 5th....we were engaged on December 31st. We plan to be married on December 31st 2007. 'Bless The Broken Road' perfectly describes how I feel for this man. Thank you for such an inspiring and heartfelt song. God Bless!
